Glass Scratch Repair – Stop replacing and discarding damaged glass.
If you have scratched windows we can restore them, in most cases faster than they can be replaced, and usually for less money. Glass scratch repair involves removing scratches and surface damage from glass. This is a multi-stage grinding and glass polishing process. After selecting an abrasive grinding disk that is matched to the severity of the damage, we remove glass stock until the damage is gone. This first step is critical to a successful repair and requires patience and skill. Second, finer abrasives are used in preparation for the third step, which is the final polishing stage. After polish the glass looks as good as new.
We have perfected the art of glass scratch repair and polishing glass and can achieve distortion-free results each time. Unique pads and compounds allow us to remove scratches ranging in depth from .004″ (deep enough to catch your fingernail) to .020″ with no distortion! With a little extra time and care, even severe scratches with chipped glass fragments and dust throughout the damaged area can be successfully repaired, such as those commonly associated with graffiti.

Pricing
We can’t quote an accurate resurfacing price without seeing the damage, but we’d be happy to arrange an on-site inspection. Estimates are free for Austin area builders and related trades/services. For all others there is a service charge of $29.50 for the estimate which will be credited to the final repair bill. We do take out-of-town jobs, and fees for estimates will correspond to the travel involved.
- Light to moderate scratches – $75-100 per window/door.
- Heavy damage may be more and is bid per job. Discounts for annual repair volume may be available.
- Graffiti – $300 minimum.

Except for contracted clients, payment is expected upon completion of services rendered. Cash, check, and all major credit cards accepted.
